Bowers & Wilkins is a British hi-fi company founded in 1966. The automotive story began in 2007 with Jaguar. Today, the brand is offered by many manufacturers. You will have to look at BMW, Maserati, Volvo, or McLaren to equip yourself with such an audio system. 

Unlike Mercedes, BMW and Volvo do not offer this option on their smaller models. It is only available from the 5 Series at BMW and from the XC60 and V60 from Volvo.

Burmester is a German brand of hi-fi products, launched in 1977 by musician Dieter Burmester. The company's automotive history began in 2005 with the Bugatti Veyron 16.4. No less. 

The brand has taken care of making an audio system that can be perfect at 400 km/h. Then the establishment in the automotive world accelerated in 2009. That year, two luxury manufacturers offered an audio system from the brand. 

And not just any cars: Mercedes-Benz and Porsche. The star trusts Burmester to equip the S-Class. At the Prancing Horse from Stuttgart, the partnership is brand new, for a brand new model: the Panamera. The option became "democratized" and a few years later, it was possible to have a 911 equipped with this audio system, or even an A-Class!

Bang & Olufsen

Bang & Olufsen is a Danish electronics company. It has produced televisions, electric razors, and radios. Since its inception in 1925, many things have happened. However, it was in 2003 that the brand entered the automotive world. And not just any old way, thanks to Audi.

In 2005, the first Audi equipped by B&O was presented, it was an A8 with a 1000-watt amplifier. Since then, the manufacturer has democratized the offer. It is now possible to equip its A1 (11 speakers, 560 watts) with a premium sound system, the A8 continues to be the Danish jewel with 23 speakers producing 1920 watts.

But it is not the only brand to use the Danish system. Since then, brands such as Aston Martin, Lamborghini, Bentley, BMW, Mercedes, and Ford have moved to B&O.

Several thousand hours were needed to find the right settings. The sound is spatialized and adapts to the internal and external environment and the speed of the car.
